Historia
An intimate, surprising look at man's best friend and what the leading philosophies of dog training teach us about ourselves. Years back, Melissa Holbrook Pierson brought home a border collie named Mercy, without a clue of how to get her to behave. Stunned after hiring a trainer whose immediate rapport with Mercy seemed magical, Pierson began delving into the techniques of positive reinforcement.

I've always wanted to write a book but didn't know what I'd want to say. Melissa Holbrook Pierson beat me to it.

Historia
Present moment awareness is an essential ingredient in life if one expects to experience any degree of authentic peace and contentment. It has been acknowledged for centuries as the cornerstone of spiritual awakening in all traditions of Eastern thought. In the West, however, it is still a relatively unrecognized concept for living. The Western mind is always restless, never content with the moment.

Good, unique content but difficult to listen to.
Revisado: 02-29-16
Most books I've read on this topic were written by scientists. This is one man's experience with mindfulness practices. He has unique approaches to the standard mindfulness techniques. I recommend this book but no the audio version.
The delivery is hard to listen to. I'm not sure the correct terms but it's over articulated. He says "t" very clearly in way that no one talks. The delivery is stilted. Speeding it up to 2x helped.
