I felt the story got bogged down in too much irrelevant information. It became tedious. It is more a story of the creation and growth of Stanford. Well researched and probably would be of more interest to Stanford alumni than the general public.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

The story is fresh. It held my interest all of the way through. I did not want the book to end. It made comparisons between life events that I would never thought of comparing. I liked the characters, even with their flaws.

What other book might you compare All I Love and Know to and why?

I can't think of any.

What about Peter Berkrot’s performance did you like?

The voices of the characters.

not at first, but after about half way through

with reservations. I like historical fiction. In this book, I think the author went beyond the point of credibility. I think the author got caught up in trying to cover too many themes.

What disappointed you about Billy Lynn's Long Halftime Walk?

Lack of plot. I got very tired of all of the angst.

What could Ben Fountain have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?

Moved the setting.

Yes

None of the characters were likeable

Not make the main couple so crazy or stupid
