Very much worth the wait

Yes, yes, a thousands times, yes!
I was ecstatic when Audible sent me an email indicating that my pre-order of "Dempsey" was "now available". This was very much worth the wait. From the very first chapter, the transition back into the "Tier One" universe was smooth. That is not always easy to do when the gap between book releases are literal years. However, Andrews & Wilson once again did a fantastic job of writing the characters in a way that remains true to who they are. And as always, Ray Porter delivers on the narration.
I will most likely (once again) start the series all over again as I patiently await the release of "Sons of Valor III" later this year.

Seriously cannot wait for this series to continue! The entire "Tier One" world building has been excellent, as has the narration. I am very much looking forward to the next "Sons of Valor" installment, as well as the release of "Dempsey" next year. In the meantime, I am just going to go back and do yet another re-listen of all the books.

I am without a doubt enjoying this ride, and am looking forward to the next book. This series is thus far offering up a little bit of everything with it's humor, Sci-Fi element, action and Chuck... cannot forget Chuck. R.C. Bray nails it as always (and is the only reason I even came across this series as I tend to do a search via narrator more than genre).

Recently re-listened to this series from the beginning prior to the release of Collateral (since I have been hooked since Book 1 was released), and am tempted to go through it yet again. Ray Porter nails it with the narration (as always), and the characters are so well written that you feel as if you know them. Just an excellent series overall.

This was a cute story, but I honestly enjoyed the prequel to this better. Erin Mallon's narrating saved this one for me, as Mallory became a bit too flaky and way too whiny.
If not for the great narration, I doubt I'd have finished this one (as the high school reunion portion really grated on my nerves).

I bought this because of Erin Mallon (who is one of my absolute favorite narrators), and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it (as this is my first time trying anything by this author).
This is a quick and fun listen that made me laugh-out-loud more than a few times. I'm not normally one for leaving reviews, just ratings, but this deserves one.

Enjoyed the entire series, and very much recommend it.
You really do get to know the characters. It was for that reason that there were times when I laughed, sighed, got a little misty-eyed, felt relieved, felt anxious and needed to pause for moment or two, but not for too long as I just had to know how things would work out.
