The narrator was funny and perfectly suited to the idea of the book. The content of the book fell short. The parody is not funny after 10 minutes.

The author brings together mother- daughter relationships, later in life relationships, work- life balance and travel brilliantly. She also successfully includes the importance of non-traditional family roles and adults who choose not to have children. The narrator was great and drew me in. I will definitely re listen next year.

This was beautiful and sometimes funny story of a mother and daughter during a unique time and place in America. It is a novel journey for every mother and daughter. This story gave a personal perspective of the lottery its roots and what it has become,
