I can totally appreciate the amount of hard work you must have put into this over the years and when I saw "I wrote a book" on your website I was immediately curious and urged to download an audible copy regardless of the true content.
As for the content I think you delivered some very key concepts and historical evidence of how we have gotten to the state we are at right now. You did this so well in fact that I truly want others close to me to hear about it so that maybe in a more neutral or disarming way they can hear this for themselves as I think you are pretty close to the truth of it all. Most of your thoughts or evidence presented I could agree with, some spots I wasn't too sure as you still seem to have a slightly biased stance despite I think your best efforts to present a neutral and logical argument.
I should be fair in that your title is "What's Our Problem?" and not "What's Our Problem? AND This is The Solution" as I felt your conclusion at the end was sort of weak at times. I will certainly have to give the end another listen. To me it seems you took a comforting way out in a sort of "can't we all just get along?" type of solution. Conversely, you did state that if you disagree you should voice your disagreement which I liked. Perhaps you are already working on a follow up book for the solution to "What's Our Problem?" because currently we really do need to navigate and act quickly towards a Wise Minded (or Strong Men) approach to returning to Good Times.
I couldn't agree more that SJF is taking us off the rails and away from what has made this country very prosperous and a wonderful place to live. As for now I think the pendulum is swinging way off course, to which you noted that most citizens do not want these burdensome issues in their lives and most of us can all agree more or less on the same common interests - yet somehow we were hijacked (well you explain this mostly in the book, thanks!) I was constantly finding myself waiting to see if you would take a direct stance in approval or disapproval of things like SJF, or I would be asking myself "it almost sounds like he is for this... will there be a rebuttal or explanation coming?"
I do feel like, throughout the book, you put a lot of emphasis on the necessity for change and perhaps that is something more engrained into ones mind who has attended a higher level college, I am only speculating, and this is maybe where I felt your biases coming into play. I can say that for myself, I tend to lean heavier in the idea to preserve and conserve our nation, yet I understand and can value the necessity for change within reason. Unfortunately too many 'bad actors' often manipulate changing moments (or law) to promote or elevate potential harmful things such as SJF.
You did a great job with the reading and it was easy and enjoyable to listen to, even when you got a little more technical. You also did great explaining your drawings (which the drawings were of big interest to me when I saw examples on your site). Thank you for including some of them online for listening as well.
Ironically, if I were lazy I could (somewhat inaccurately) summarize this all by saying I wish the booked leaned a little more towards an echo chamber I would appreciate, but it did also provide some Idea Lab moments. Unfortunately, those that support things like SJF, well I don't see them letting go of their tribal, primal antics anytime soon to join us in the theatre of ideas. We will see how we move forward tho. Thanks Tim! Good Luck!

Whoops it's about men ONLY!

I wish I would have fully read the description before purchasing/downloading. I am a man, likely an empath to some degree and my spouse, well she has some glaring narcissistic traits, from what I can tell, and that has us magnetized in the worst way at times. I would really like to learn: How to Live with a Narcissistic FEMALE so that our children and her & I can survive and live happy, fulfilling lives. I am so sick of the rollercoaster ride and being told I am never good enough or everything is always my fault. Well I will put this on the shelf for later, as desperate as I am now for help, I can't imagine another time where I would consider this book - again, because it is only about men. I am under the assumption that a WOMAN with narcissistic traits is likely far more dangerous than a MAN just because of the stigma that it is mostly males with these behavioral challenges - be interesting to find a study to back my thoughts. Good luck all! I cannot fully rate this book as I have not listened to it, and currently don't have the time as I have baby books to listen to and hopefully I will find a book that fits my situation better regarding living with her random outbursts and destructive episodes. Lord save us, we need the help!!!
