I like the stories and love that they are based in mn. However

Some of the city’s are pronounced incorrectly, or at least the way they are pronounced locally . So it’s a bit distracting . But I love the land marks and high schools and street names. As a Minnesotan I can really visualize the story. Narrator is great!

Great narrator

I’m half way through the first book and i had to comment I love the narrator. He really make the characters come alive by different voice to es it really sound slime there are more than one person reading. The story is well done. I find myself stopping g what I’m doing to just listen yo absorb the scene. Parts are hard to hear as it’s to do with children but it is part of the story. Am I say hard ti hear as it is done so well if feels like a true story. I did not find this slow at all I believe that is a credit to the narrator. If you skip ahead I think you will miss some detail that is a important to the twisty story I can’t wait to listen to the rest of this book and the others.

Confusing

I listen to a lot of true crime. This is an interesting story but I feel it’s kinda all over the place. I loose track of what’s going on.one episode doesn’t seem to follow the previous one. Also I’m trying to listen from the oldest and when one ends it jumps to a new episode and not the next one . Which could be adding to the confusion. However the live interviews or recording are tossed in with little explanation of who they are or what they are talking about . I have completed 2 full episodes ( I think ) will try a few more I’m not sure if I like the narrative or not his voice is a bit monotone yet over dramatic it’s easy to tune out. However he does tell the story

This is eye opening/devastating and informative

I did not know this story. Heart reaching. Praise to his daughter. You have done what so many of us want to do. I was my mothers caregiver, she also has Louie body , until she had to be in a facility. I continued daily care for her as the employees no compassion. I was considering other options as I had gotten reports of verbal abuse. Then I witnessed physical abuse right in front of me it was devastating. Action was taken and my mother was moved to a save place, where she passed only a few weeks later. Being an advocate is something I have alway wanted to be however it’s so emotional for me. I am so glad I found this podcast and now kasem cares . This story was hard to listen to as I felt so much for Casey knowing the disease and the confusion that goes with it. And his children not being able to see or help him. Just broke my heart. I recommend everyone hear this story. I wish healing and happiness to his children and further awareness across the country.

This was a fun story but what made it great was the narrator. Her emotions and tones are spot on! I didn’t feel sh was reading a story rather acting it out. This made the story very enjoyable

Can’t follow

I listened to 6 episodes. It might be me but it was hard to follow. I kept thinking, “ what’s happening ?” It was kind of all over the place . Couldn’t alway tell when one store moved to the next . Useally a story will keep me focus on my physical task. This was not the case I was distracted by the story ( trying to figure it out) and loosing my place in my other tasks . I’ll try it again at another time. I believe it is a good story but maybe in a different format .
