Wonderful, Must-Read For Any Age!
Revisado: 05-14-20
C.S. Lewis is a brilliant writer, and novelist. You can’t help but love his story-telling while also appreciating the innate, moral reasoning that drives us all to fight for what’s true, good, and beautiful! This series is nothing less than all three of those. Stories for the ages!

The Story of the Bible
Revisado: 05-06-18
I have thoroughly enjoyed listening to this book. I recommend it for anyone who wants to gain an overall understanding of the Bible. Because it is told like a story that’s easy to understand. It’s easy for children to understand but not so juvenile that an adult wouldn’t benefit from listening. If you have never listened to the Bible I would start with this. I love the beginning introductions and how they explain a lot of cultural and detailed information that helps you with context. I also love that these versions give you little details or explanations related to the Catholic/Christian faith.

Historia
To Give and Not to Count the Cost includes a reading of the eponymous prayer followed by beautiful piano music based on an original composition of Frederic Chopin. The piano composition includes Nocturne in F-sharp Minor, Op. 48 No. 2 - Andantino. This is one of Chopin's longer nocturnes, containing soothing, simple chord progressions. A seemingly endless melody is played with restless triplets on the left hand.

Beautiful, inexplicable piece
Revisado: 08-12-17
This was surprisingly just what I needed. A short, soul stirring piece that was quickly a delight for me to unwind to for a few minutes before bed. I would recommend to anyone who is a fan of Chopin's work. But even if you're not a fan, it's certainly enjoyable.

Historia
On The Power of Vulnerability, Dr. Brown offers an invitation and a promise - that when we dare to drop the armor that protects us from feeling vulnerable, we open ourselves to the experiences that bring purpose and meaning to our lives. Here she dispels the cultural myth that vulnerability is weakness and reveals that it is, in truth, our most accurate measure of courage.

Incredible Book. Authentic, Hilarious, & Powerful Insight
Revisado: 11-09-15
I am recommending this book to everyone I know. It's just so packed full of insights that everyone should hear and come to know as truths for their own lives. She's good. Really good. She has a gift for seeing people and knowing stuff that we can all gain something from. I haven't heard her books that aren't narrated by her but I can't imagine anyone else reading her books. She's a fantastic narrator.
