The podcast brought home to me how careful the show runners were to be authentic and respectful of the Inuit culture, and the lengths they went to in order to secure indigenous people for the actors.

Struggling to finish. I really like the monster hunter series. This set of stories really was mostly too much "how to".. not why. No real story.
I wasn't enamored of the reader either. Go back to the reader if the monster hunter stories.

Having trouble with the weird accents. The female reader is especially hard to understand. And Luke Daniels doesn't sound like himself. The story is convoluted and difficult to follow. I'm about seven hours in and will slog through it.

A thoroughly enjoyable whodunit. Not too complicated or surprising, but beautifully read accompanied by the right mix of likable and despicable characters.

I love to read Dan Brown novels because they are so well researched. This particular novel has a very Timely discussion on moral dilemmas. It is almost as if he is writing to all of us to inspect our beliefs and how we behave and how we treat each other. Additionally,
he tackles the time old question of the origin of the species and does it in a very interesting and respectful manner. I listened to this book rather than read it, and I could hardly stop listening to it to get my work done.

Vaughn Heppner continues to craft a compelling "Space Opera", much like Lucas managed with Star Wars. Drawing on the great military leaders and battles from history, Heppner adds a layer of depth to a creative story, one which also puts failed political ideologies from the past (and some from our current state of theworld) and twisted philosophies throughout the history of modern man under a microscope. We are transported through one man's struggle for freedom and the lengths he will go to achieve it, while striving to stay true to his principles. Heppner balances a solid story with an equally strong message about standing up for what is right in the face of overwhelming odds. Well worth the read and hard to put down!

Brilliant story, top notch reader and the performance and work of the production crew shines throughout this compelling story. I rarely find any unique "apocalypse" novels, but Joe Hill, has found a way, without zombies or nuclear war, to create a narrative of the world on the brink. There is hope and love, which find a way to carry on in a world on fire. There is doubt and shame, which are elevated by the same fire, but the struggle between these fundamental human emotions is what makes this book so well written. I did find myself thinking occasionally of Lord of the Flies, and even 1984, but only as reflections on the insight into human nature displayed by some of the struggling survivors. This is a book well worth a read l, or listen in this case.

Well written with compelling characters that you actually care about, I found myself listening with headphones in because I couldn't save the story for my time traveling in the car.

It's not an easy thing to blur the lines of good and evil, or those of shellfish versus selfless actions. Mr.Anderson pulls it off in a brilliant manner, with an engaging story, rich with depth of character and hint of the scope of the history and culture of world where few of its people are true natives.

I've listened to this book twice. I will probably listen to it twice more. It makes me laugh and cry and just enjoy the story.
