Historia
Derek Harrington, retired Marine Force Recon and SERE instructor, is barely scraping by teaching the basics of wilderness survival. His fledgling bushcraft school is on the cusp of going out of business and expenses are piling up fast. His only true mission these days? To get his ailing father into a full care facility and to support his ex-wife and their son. When one of his students presents him with an opportunity too good to be true—$20,000 to instruct a private group for 30 days in upstate New York—Derek reluctantly takes the job.

There’s a few big reasons to like and not like this book. Let’s start off, Derrick is a adversarial to everyone. That’s a poor approach to collecting data Secondly, Derrick is the VILLIAN turned semi hero. They have zero probable cause or reasonable suspicion of a crime but “think” the group is up to something??? Working backwards to probable cause, this case 100% fruit of the poison tree. Then the FBI puts undercovers full time at a bank? With no op in place ? Don’t get me started on the ball park fight, that’s silly. No one goes to jail in NY. It’s a bail reform haven, and everyone filmed the fight, so Derrick wouldn’t have gone anywhere. Maybe a ticket, tops. Attention Derrick, you get more flys with honey, horrible interviewing style. Next time join in the group and gain intel. This book was a mix of good and bad. Also, to be clear, everytime you say “clip” it makes readers insane. Total loss of credibility. Hey what do I know, (I’m not dropping a resume but this JTTF TFO laughs at this silliness) I only finished because I purchased the book. Otherwise I would have bailed. Also the ending, so dumb. Ok FBI guys, arrest me…. Who cares. It would be tossed on first appearance. If you are twelve, and clueless this could be a fun fiction read/listen. Anyone over twelve, not so much.

Historia
This is the book that dares to show us the military hardware, global upheavals, and raw combat a second Korean War would unleash. How F-16s would blast across the 38th Parallel. How ultra-modern submarines would vie for the seas. And how two armies would turn the snowfields of Asia red with blood. A thundering geopolitical thriller of vast scope, this is Red Phoenix - and a new standard for military/political suspense fiction.

On the snow-covered slopes of Utah, the unthinkable has just become a nightmarish reality: thirty Secret Service agents have been viciously executed and the vacationing president of the United States kidnapped by one of the most lethal terrorist organizations in the Middle East - the Fatah Revolutionary Council. But surviving agent and ex-Navy SEAL Scot Harvath doesn't believe the Fatah Revolutionary Council is responsible for the attack.

I hear they get better
Revisado: 10-12-22
Some of this was just silly. I know, it’s a book. But Scott’s interview style is beyond pathetic. His boss, worse. Using the word clip way to often. He’s an expert and he says clip and assault weapon. Come on. Anyway. I hear the series gets much better. I’m told to give it some more books. Thai book wasn’t horrible, but it was kinda borderline. I finished it because I paid for it. If it was free I would have bailed. No disrespect intended

Bad reviews? Say what?!?
Revisado: 06-07-22
Anyone who left a bad review on this book or this series just doesn’t like fun, entertainment and MERICA’ There is only one possible valid complaint, the book ended. WTH. I needed more. This is one of those series you can relisten to and pick up more each time.
Outstanding book, great presentation and the narrator is the b@mb!!!

With exemplary skills in hand-to-hand combat and small-arms weaponry, John Rexford completes a string of successful kills, eliminating terrorists and their money supply in the New York metropolitan area.

Interesting

The book was fun enough. I enjoyed all the Ulster references. There’s was bits and pieces that seemed kinda out of place or humorous. The police checking their guns for a round in the chamber on the way to a call. Classic. Anyway a fun enough book to keep me listening to the end.

I like this entire series! I liked this book the best out of the series. It was enjoyable. I enjoyed the winning the clan enjoyed. I need another book asap . It’s perfect!!!!!
No long drawn out parts of negative can’t win doom that somehow people miraculously survive and win. This book seemed more “real”. I hope the next book keeps this going !!!

Historia
Ex-CIA master assassin Court Gentry has always prided himself on his ability to disappear at will, to fly below the radar and exist in the shadows - to survive as the near-mythical Gray Man. But when he takes revenge upon a former employer who betrayed him, he exposes himself to something he’s never had to face before. A killer who is just like him. Code-named Dead Eye, Russell Whitlock is a graduate of the same ultra-secret Autonomous Asset Program that trained and once controlled Gentry.

Loved everything but the ending.
Revisado: 12-23-21
This series is really fun. Leaving violator frozen in a doorway to be covered with a wool blanket then twelve hours later he’s fine was just too big of a stretch. I need some sorta filler there. Not bashing the book. But that ending felt empty.

Historia
In his last mission, Conor Maguire was called back into action by his handler, Ricardo, to go after a man who helped facilitate the terror attacks that devastated America. When Ricardo next pays Conor a visit, it's at the behest of a shadowy collective of patriots determined to purge the government of those who sold out the nation. It should have been a simple mission, a short trip to "punch tickets" in the way that Conor had successfully done hundreds of times around the world. But nothing in this mission will be simple.
