Historia
In the autumn of 1911, an eye-watering mass of French citizens gathered around a churchyard in the heart of Rouen to celebrate the millennial anniversary of Normandy. A suspenseful hush fell over the congregation as a city official strode to the front of the crowd, placing his hands upon the large cloth draped over the mysterious statue. With a flick of his wrists, he unveiled an exquisite marble effigy of a handsome warrior. The statue was of none other than Rollo the Viking, father of the Duchy of Normandy.

So short.
Revisado: 11-12-20
Before you buy it, look at the length. It’s so short I don’t know how you can actually call it a book.

Historia
Zachary Quinto - best known for his role as the Nimoy-approved Spock in the recent Star Trek reboot and the menacing, power-stealing serial killer, Sylar, in Heroes - brings his well-earned sci-fi credentials and simmering intensity to this audio-exclusive novella from master storyteller John Scalzi. One day, not long from now, it becomes almost impossible to murder anyone - 999 times out of a thousand, anyone who is intentionally killed comes back. How? We don't know.

Zachary Quinto’s voice, Characterization and inflection is amazing. I bought this book specifically because Zachary Quinto was the narrator. Mr. Quinto absolutely brought this book to life. It’s a great story, read with passion and talent.

Historia
In 1307, as they struggled to secure their last strongholds in the Kingdom of Jerusalem, the Templars fell afoul of the vindictive and impulsive king of France. On Friday, October 13, hundreds of brothers were arrested en masse, imprisoned, tortured, and disbanded amid accusations of lurid sexual misconduct and heresy. They were tried by the Vatican in secret proceedings. But were they heretics or victims of a ruthlessly repressive state?

Dan Jones is an excellent historian and really has researched the Templars very well. The book was informative and was also a great “listen”. I feel like this is the Templar book you should buy if you really want to know the true history of the Templars . This is one of my favorite audiobooks to date.
