Such a promising book with such a disappointing ending

Perfect thriller to blast through

When I’m feeling sick, a good thriller fits the bill perfectly. The characters are good, but not so exquisitely drawn that I get too attached to them. The plot is quick and I can pay attention with about 70% of my brain and still feel like I’m reading a good book. This book hits all those points and extra cool that it takes place in Canada. Don’t be misled by my rating, this was a perfectly decent book, and a three out of five book was pretty much what I was looking for.

She does it again! Amazing story, amazing narration

I thought this was such a unique concept for a book. The narration was excellent, the characters were so vividly drawn and relatable, and I could not predict which way the book was going to go at any given point. Highly highly recommend

Concise, persuasive, relatable and conversational

I grew up Muslim, was then an ardent atheist, and became a Christian in 2018. I’ve read a lot of apologetics books, and am a listener of the unbelievable podcast which I would also recommend. When I learned that Justin had written a book about his own faith and what persuaded him, I knew I had to get it. I was so delighted that he narrated it himself because I could also probably listen to him narrating the phone book. He did a phenomenal job with this book and I inhaled it in two days. I’m going to be recommending it to almost anyone I know who is even interested in matters of Faith. Thank you, Justin, for doing such incredible work. I hope I get the opportunity to meet you someday.

Amazing book

This book dragged for me occasionally, but was ultimately one of the best books I’ve ever read. Amazing narration, and justifiable in its length because it really set the stage for a deeper understanding of people who struggle with poverty and addiction.

Probably among the best books I’ve ever read in my life

Everything about this book was phenomenal. The characters are so incredibly richly textured and developed, the narration is amazing. There is virtually nothing at all I would change about this entire novel. Stop reading reviews and just buy the book, it’s that amazing.
