another great completionist title from J.A. Hunt and Dakota Krout, with the standard phenomenal performance by the always stellar Nick Podehl. I held off on reading, for this to come out on audible just because he is the reader.

Don't get me won't, I love Luke Daniels, but I feel like he didn't really try very hard on this one, and I rreeaally wish he had atleast listened to some of the other books to get a feel for the characters and their voices. for example, Travis Baldree is the narrator for " The Artorian Archives, featuring the eccentric head master, and does an incredible job mimicking Vikas Adams when needed.

As always Luke Daniels is absolutely Brilliant. Everything he reads is gold, and when it's paired with Kevin Hearne, the result is characters that feel fully alive. This was a great way to continue the ID world.

fun story, but the VA needs to alter his style...

It was a fun story, not too deep but engaging. My only real issue was the voice actor. He constantly made the main character end his sentences in a manner as if he were asking a question? but did made his questions sound like statements? was anyone else annoyed by this.....just like that. I hope he noticed and adjusted his reading style in later books or I may not make it through the next.

This book is like a perfectly seasoned, well grilled, burger. It's exactly what you expect, and sometimes exactly what you are craving, and while it may not be steak and lobster, it certainly hits the spot. If you are a fan of RPGs try this book.
