The book covers topics relevant to the PJR certification and isn't a ton of advice on how to prepare for the certification.

Decline can be avoided. Decline can be detected. Decline can be reversed. Amidst the desolate landscape of fallen great companies, Jim Collins began to wonder: How do the mighty fall? Can decline be detected early and avoided? How far can a company fall before the path toward doom becomes inevitable and unshakable? How can companies reverse course?

Not as Good as the Previous Books
Revisado: 03-26-22
Overall, not a bad book. It covered relevant information in reasonable detail. It does not cover information as well as "Built to Last" or "Good to Great" though. Also, I feel like a lot of the information from those two books supplements a large part of this one. I am still glad I bought and listened to it regardless.

Historia
In a scrap heap within an abandoned factory, the greatest invention in history lies dormant and unused. By what fatal error of judgment has its value gone unrecognized, its brilliant inventor punished rather than rewarded for his efforts? In defense of those greatest of human qualities that have made civilization possible, one man sets out to show what would happen to the world if all the heroes of innovation and industry went on strike.

This book is long and takes dedication to get through. some parts are dry while some are exciting. All characters being voiced by one person for 60 hours wore me out a bit too.

There's a saying that goes, "Experience is the best kind of teacher." I am here to tell you that experience is the worst kind of teacher. Looking back on my career, I wish I would have avoided all of these mistakes, taking instead the wise advice of those around me, implementing the suggestions I was given over the years, and not being as stubborn. Fortunately, I did figure things out, and I hope you can learn a few important lessons from my ups and downs over the years.

Historia
A vicious 15-year-old droog is the central character of this 1963 classic, a frightening fable about good and evil, and the meaning of human freedom. In Anthony Burgess' nightmare vision of the future, where the criminals take over after dark, the story is told by the central character, Alex, who talks in a brutal invented slang that brilliantly renders his and his friends' social pathology.

I think it would have been better if I were more familiar with English from Great Britain. The slang and heavy accents made it kind of tough to stay engaged in the story.

Historia
Sports teams that win have more than just talented players: they’ve also mastered the concept of teamwork, which requires more than just athletic skill. It’s a mindset that makes every player think beyond themselves, bring a positive attitude, look out for one another, and stay focused on the job at hand. The value of these skills in the workplace is inescapable. In this workshop, Jay Wright, head coach of the Villanova University basketball team, shares his vision of what teamwork means and highlights three audiobooks that helped shape his approach.
