I was hesitant on purchasing this book because I don’t like school settings. Thankfully this book wasn’t based on a school. In fact she was only at a school for 1/3 of the book. I loved the way the author portrayed this complex power and Devi’s uncertainty around it. It showed her as smart and strong but not whiny. The plot was well developed and the steamy sex scenes were great. I gave the story a 4 only because I felt like there could have been a little more drama to kind of mellow out the sexy scenes. However, this is a book I will definitely reread and I am looking forward to the next one .

I struggled to finish this series. The write is okay, and I love the narrator but I felt like the main story line revolved around a political campaign and not awesome Sci-Fi plot. I picked this book because I thought the idea behind the Kazi's was very unique and would make a good story but became disappointed when I felt like the author didn't really use this world to add in any exciting points, or involve the Kazi's in their own struggles. I felt like the author could have done so much better with the idea and concept she create. The three books I read should have been all one book, instead it was drawn out and hard to finish because it couldn't keep my attention. After the thrid book I had to return the series.

this was one of those books you keep avoid getting because your unsure if it will be any good. Then after staring at it for months you finally pick it up. this was a great series and is well written. im sad it took me so long to pick it up

I see their names and have never beem disappointed. leia
always keeps your attention with her creative writting,making you laugh out loud at least once throughout each of her books. Vanessa Moyen always dpes a great job bringing the characters to life, you almost forget its one person narrating becuse you become so focused on the story. Cant wait to see them come out with more books💕

I like the first book but it was completely missing the climax. I took a chance on this second book because the reviews were much better and I'm glad I did. it was entertaining and there was a climax. Cant wait for the next in the series.

like this story, however there is overlay of audio in chapter 28 that should be there. I enjoyed this book and it's originality plot line.
