Reacher takes a stroll through a small Wisconsin town and sees a class ring in a pawn shop window: West Point 2005. A tough year to graduate: Iraq, then Afghanistan. The ring is tiny, for a woman, and it has her initials engraved on the inside. Reacher wonders what unlucky circumstance made her give up something she earned over four hard years. He decides to find out. And find the woman. And return her ring. Why not?

Captivating through out. I hated when I had to pause. Actually teared up at the end.

Historia
It’s 1996, and Reacher is still in the army. In the morning they give him a medal, and in the afternoon they send him back to school. That night he’s off the grid. Out of sight, out of mind. Two other men are in the classroom—an FBI agent and a CIA analyst. Each is a first-rate operator, each is fresh off a big win, and each is wondering what the hell they are doing there. Then they find out: A Jihadist sleeper cell in Hamburg, Germany, has received an unexpected visitor—a Saudi courier, seeking safe haven while waiting to rendezvous with persons unknown.

Not Mr Child's best effort.
Revisado: 09-01-17
I had to force myself to finish it. Surprisingly boring. I have read all of the Reacher books but can't recommend this one.

Someone has tried to kill the French president. How many snipers can shoot from three-quarters of a mile with total confidence? John Kott—a U.S. Army marksman gone bad—is one of them. After fifteen years in prison, he’s out . . . and there’s a G8 summit coming up, packed with enough world leaders to tempt any assassin.

Ugh Oh....Worst book of the series.
Revisado: 12-03-14
I was determined to get through it but it took a long time. Just a poor effort by Mr Child. Boring story with boring characters. Sorry. Because I love the rest of the series. Dick Hill was great as usual.

Decent story bad narration.
Revisado: 06-23-14
Oh my gosh, I struggled to stay with the story because of the narrator. I'm sorry Mr. Hammer but your style, if one can call it that, is extremely boring. Plodding, slow, methodical, etc. It's almost like you really didn't even want to do the project. After many audible books this the worst narration I've every experienced.

Historia
Opening in the settlement of Long Grass, Texas - not quite in Kansas, and nearly New Mexico - we encounter the taciturn Wyatt, whiling away his time in between bottles, and the dentist-turned-gunslinger Doc, more adept at poker than extracting teeth. Now hailed as heroes for their days of subduing drunks in Abilene and Dodge - more often with a mean look than a pistol - Wyatt and Doc are living out the last days of a way of life that is passing into history, two men never more aware of the growing distance between their lives and their legends.

Historia
A high-profile attorney in the middle of a leave of absence following a personal tragedy is drawn back into the legal arena amidst a media firestorm when he agrees to represent a popular rap artist accused of brutally murdering his pop star girlfriend. With its powerful voice, pause-resisting tension, and strong cast of characters, Adam Mitzner’s novels are reminiscent of such best-selling authors as Scott Turow and John Grisham.

Historia
As the autumn storms of 1271 ravage the East Anglian coast, Crowner Ralf finds the corpse of a brutally murdered soldier in the woods near Tyndal Priory. The dagger in the man’s chest is engraved with a strange cursive design, and the body is wrapped in a crusader’s cloak. Was this the act of a member of the Assassin sect, or was the weapon meant to mislead? Ralf’s decision to take the corpse to the priory for advice may be reasonable, but he is soon caught up in a maelstrom of conflict, both personal and political.

Confusing Narration
Revisado: 09-04-12
I love the Girl...trilogy. This one bogged down in the middle a little bit. Poor narrator. An English accent for Scandanavian people was quite distracting. Some were English some Scottish and even a German got in there. It would have been much better to have a neutral accent. This guy just distracted from the story.
