The 1st chapter had me laughing out loud (literally) ! 15 or 18 books 📚 in and the level of writing is superb! Each chapter,  each individual character are meticulously sculpted. Pirate is my favorite writer and Andrea is the perfect narrator for this. You can tell she takes care and pride in her work. She understands the characters and each nuisance between characters and the story.  The level of dedication in this team will have me reading 📚 these 1st day as long as they keep going.   🥰♟️🍻

Where writers struggle putting strong women onto the page, Pirate does so in SPADES! Each character is believable and strong in their own right. This is the writing that I love for myself and especially for my daughters.

Pirate Aba has a way with storytelling that even if I don't like the direction the story is heading Inn. I still love the journey. Pirate has become one of the greatest writers of any age & yet due to our system is quite unfairly unknown for the talent. Not quite a Van Gough of the modern age for the few that have been lucky enough to come across the Inn-verse.

I will pre-order EVERY Pirate Masterpiece that comes to Audible for the next "42"* years.(& even past that if any are made)

If Dystopia could be Cozy

Terms of Service starts off as a modern-day retelling of 1984. Whereas George Orwell's 1984 was innovative for its time,  it had no monumental template for its social reconstruction.  As the genre of Dystopia has itself evolved,  this societal subgenre has had many spectacular entries among its ranks. I would give this a solid 4 - 5 ranking.   This story takes the reader into a world charged just slightly off our own. Though it doesn't reach the heights of the absolute best of a 5 star, it is a solid story with which I was happy to be immersed.

The A.I. aspects and technology slightly advanced from our current development let's the story seem as if it were just around our Era.  The ideals not unlike those of Handmaid's Tale are much more palatable,  which gives merit to the believability.   The protagonist doesn't have the uncanny luck, which many dystopian fiction seem to have in abundance, ultimately lending a series of events that feel very connected.   The subtleties of the Artificial Intelligence and the interlacing of companies throughout the lives of the inhabitants of this tapestry very closely resemble that any reader can relate to staggering degrees.

The narrator for the audio version does a spectacular performance.  Especially for the tone of the book.  Where Gender has become that of non-disclosure. The narrator is able to do justice to the protagonist, A.I. , and a myriad of characters throughout the story.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes a tale from which seems both unbelievable and yet possible to come. If you need a palate cleanser and still wish to read Dystopian fiction,  then this is definitely the book for you.  No gore, little romance, with minimum sexual content.   Yet still a gripping story, which leads me to wanting the sequel.

Snatched Up To Heaven For Kids is mind-numbingly slow.  As a Christian father myself who read to my children at each stage in their lives. (especially Christian based materials)  I would not have read this to a two year old, let alone any child. It demeans the intelligence of children and is simplistic beyond measure.  If the book was targeted to non-English speaking children who were in fact learning English, i still would not recommend this book to those children or parents.

The entirety of the book can be summed up too easily.  It feels worse than a pamphlet. With less of the flair. The narration for the audio book is passable.  It actually comes off as decent in spite of the lack of storytelling,  plot, or any character development.

The particular detail that I found to be the light of the story was the dynamic with which the parents had with their children.   It was simple, yet,  this was positive and the deepest part of the story, in my opinion.

A too simple-minded book that dumbs down faith to less meaning than a flash card. 2 out of 5. If you are interested in teaching your little one about faith, I don't believe this is the way to do so.

What I would want from an early age is that faith introduction is something that can be understood at a young age,  yet appreciated as the child ages.   Hopefully,  in a way that one could read and see more details as a child develops.   This book, however,  leaves nothing to be gained from a second reading.

I suggest Chicken Soup Especially the ones directly for children.   I pray you find what you are looking for.

As someone who believes in self improvement,  I have read more than a few self-help books over the last few years.  This one really kept me on the fence.   It spent far too long stating how great it was than introducing the individual concepts.  It seemed as if each chapter was bogged down by this obsessively.  There are many great concepts being discussed and introduced to the reader that seem more time is spent the benefits of learning from the concept than the concept itself.

As the book progressed, I  was frequently bothered by the repetition of specific selling points.  Most noticeable of these points was that "you should have a life coach." Now, I need to state that this wasn't a lesson or chapter in itself,  but rather what felt as a commercial within each chapter.  I didn't count how many times it was brought up,  though it felt as if it was every chapter, and several times in each chapter.   Usually followed by an example of how the author himself provides such services.   These commercials seemed disjointed at times.

The pacing of the book was at times, jumping from information to anecdotes to concepts with no clear connection or transition, which, for me , drew a disconnect with the material.  Even though there were some profound notions being discussed,  it felt watered down by the lack of depth and the inclusive conclusions the author makes .

As much as I admire many of the concepts discussed throughout this book, I  would not recommend this to anyone.   Much of this book feels time sensitive and relevant within our immediate post covid society.   It can stand alone , though it is just one of the many factors that seem to withdraw from the quality of the help that it is trying to offer. The problem in the pacing and the self-congratulatory ego made this fall short for me.

This series has been Spectacular from Book 1 - The Vexed Generation. No matter how deep the philosophy or technical knowledge, the series remained light , upbeat, and not at all condescending.

Luke Daniels is one of the best narrators to be sure.

It is gripping from beginning to end. Every Book leaves me wanting more . The only negative thing I can say is "there's not more yet."

This book has a lot of Sadness to it . There are parts where I felt disgruntled with merging events . Yet, the story does not waiver in quality. Nor does the Narrator. Andrea Parsneau has made this epic writing and vibrant world sound Alive.

This is one series that I am going to pre-order every new book IMMEDIATELY when I find out about them.
