Good reading...

Would you listen to NASB Complete Audio Bible again? Why?
Yes...other versions I've listened to, the reader is too angry or to prideful to the point of being distracting. Steven B Stevens reads without the fake melodrama that totally destroys the true message of the Bible...it's a realistic reading. There is a version out there that dramatizes the Bible to the extent that it is nothing more than a melodramatic joke and that sounds like poor actors in school.

Historia
Already cited on the floor of Congress and discussed in the corridors of the Pentagon as a book all Americans should read, One Second After is the story of a war scenario that could become all too terrifyingly real. Based upon a real weapon - the Electro Magnetic Pulse (EMP) - which may already be in the hands of our enemies, it is a truly realistic look at the awesome power of a weapon that can destroy the entire United States.

in light of the fact that our Achilles heel in the USA is the vulnerability of our electrical grid system I was determined to listen to this account. have listened to One Nation Forsaken as well...the two books go well together...one fact...one fiction. lots of cussing...not much Jesus...the only hope for America.

The United States is more vulnerable than ever to an EMP attack that could shut down the country overnight, resulting in tens of millions of deaths and a 19th-century lifestyle for Americans for the foreseeable future, says a new book, A Nation Forsaken, written by a long-time national security expert. Even worse, the threat doesn't just come from terrorists, but from unpreventable solar activity - and a new peak period is on the way,
