Everything you could want in an amazing story!

I’m not familiar with the author and so this was a dive in to see if I would like her and the writing or not. I’ve listened to a lot of titles in the paranormal reverse harem genre. I absolutely loved everything about this book. There’s an actual plot and storyline that rivals many of the fantasy genre that is more mainstream. There’s character dynamics and depth and progression and it was just an amazing book to read. I am very much looking forward to the next one!

Lots of Plot Holes

I love May Dawson and I love the narrators. However even as I tried my best to suspend disbelief, I just couldn’t get past all of the moments where I was like….this doesn’t make any sense. Why would they do that? Wait…what? So eh. Probably won’t continue the series.

I could not put this book down! The story is very well done and the characters really make you feel. I’ve listened to a lot of RH stories and this is one of the best I’ve come across in a while. There’s actual twists in the story that you don’t see coming. I cannot wait for the next in the series to come to Audible!

Thoroughly Enjoyed!

This is one of those stories that I thoroughly enjoyed from start to finish. It was engaging and actually had a story with a good plot. The only reason I gave it four stars for performance is this would have been the chefs kiss if it had been narrated by both the female and male narrator. That’s just a personal preference. Otherwise, the narrator was exceptionally good at what she did and just I cannot say enough good things about this book. I am definitely jumping into the next one immediately. Keep up the great work. Brava!

Whiny Bratty Lead Character

I tried so hard to get into this. I listened to it for a bit and fell asleep. I tried again today. And the main character just grates on every nerve I have. She complains about every. single. thing. If self-important bratty behavior is your thing, this may work. Otherwise, I highly recommend skipping it. I even tried to return the book but apparently, it played too long while I slept last night and so I'm stuck with it. Ugh.

A fun and entertaining story

I'm quite enjoying the story and the narration. It's not perfect, but it's a fun story to listen to as I work. I'm on book 2 and intrigued to see how things go.
