Historia
This deeply personal memoir, cowritten by singer-songwriter, renowned mental health advocate, and recent Order of Canada recipient Séan McCann and wife Andrea Aragon, leaves no stone unturned. Detailing in powerful and lyrical prose a Newfoundland childhood indoctrinated in strict Catholic faith, the creation of the wildly successful Great Big Sea, and the battle with alcoholism that nearly cost them everything, McCann and Aragon offer listeners a story of reaching international fame and finding rock bottom.

Compelling and full of wisdom
Revisado: 06-13-23
This book was healing to read as a sufferer of religious trauma and was full of insight into life. I have been a fan of Sean McCann since he was in Great Big Sea, and hearing his honest story along with Andrea’s perspective was so inspiring to hear because it really shows you that everyone is just a human, and that is ok. Plus, the book holds your attention from beginning to end. I loved this book!
