There is no way to write a blurb for this final book without spoiling all of the others. Suffice it to say, mysteries resolve, dragons war, pigeons abound, and Julius must risk himself in ways he never dreamed possible as Bob's grand plan finally comes to fruition.

I will miss this series!

What a wonderful adventure it’s been.. someone else reviewed this book & mentioned that there’s a loooot of dialogue rather than action. Sort of, but I also feel like in a way much of the action WAS the dialogue/the way things occurred and changed. Also, I just freakin’ love these characters, so I didn’t mind at all 😂.
This series had a wonderful message, and got me fully invested in the world (or, multi-planar universe) in which it takes place.
The only thing I noticed change that was a bit off-putting was the pacing by the editor after book 1 or 2. The pauses weren’t shortened quite as much (I’m sure Vikas needs time to breathe and switch between his magnificent voices), and sometimes they were so long that it slowed the action’s momentum.
That said, it was a tiny thing, and I didn’t mind soaking in the words for even longer 😋.
This was a wonderful series, and I’m excited to check out the other DFZ books! You go, Rachel!

Ahhhhhhhhh, this one was a ride!! My favorite plot line was Marcy’s, and I loved the variety of the characters whose perspectives got featured. Immediately need the next one.

I am fully in love with these books, and especially the audio versions narrated by the wonderful Jesse Einstein.
It’s been a while since I listened to the last one, and Nicole did a good job of subtly reminding the reader/listener of the characters’ connections. There were also little nods to past plot lines that I’ve forgotten the reference to— it makes me want to listen all the way through again! 💕
