There are some times in life where it is fun to not plan ahead. For example, a random day hanging out with friends or a spontaneous holiday trip to some new place. Web design, though, is not one of those times! If you leave your web design journey to chance, expect to fail. What this book covers is what I wish I knew when I first started web design. It is the big lessons that make a big difference.

A Different Perspective To Web Design

In all my time building websites I have always thought that my most important asset was my technical skills and because of that outlook I was always trying to refine my web skills (not a bad idea) but I wasn't paying any attention to how my work was helping the business.
I think this is one of the most important tip I am walking from this with - To think in business sense first, not my designs skills.
Overall the book was great and introduces the reader to a lot of new perspectives relating to web design and business mindset. I would recommend this book to others, web designer or anyone looking to become an entrepreneur.
