Tensions surrounding the oil rig are high and the death has everyone on edge. Environmental activists are threatening to do whatever it takes to stop the structure from being completed, while rumors are being whispered about ancient curses surrounding this part of the ocean.

I wanted this to be better…

First off, I will say I love that this truly is a Christian book. Maybe I am just not a fan of this author’s writing style but every book leaves me wanting more and less at the same time…
-there are too many subplots that make the main plot convoluted
-too many characters without enough character development
- too many descriptors about things that don’t matter
I will try to finish the series but this will probably be my last one from Dani Pettrey. I will stick with authors like Lynette Eason and Teri Blackstock.

Although, I enjoyed the author’s previous novels this one seemed to deviate from her norm; she is now writing long rambling smut.
