Historia
A life hangs in the balance… A king held for ransom, a country under thumb, clans at one another’s throats. Malcolm of clan MacKintosh has enough to worry about without finding a mysterious lass sleeping on the side of his road. He tries to help her — in his overbearing, arrogant way — and winds up flat on his back. God’s blood, who is this woman…and why does she captivate him so?

Storyline was just okay
Revisado: 01-13-15
The storyline was your typical time travel romance. To my mind the heroine was much too accepting of her fate, hero and heroine just had to fall in love and of course live happily ever after. It wasn't horrible, but a book I could put aside easily.

Great listen!!
Revisado: 05-08-11
If you're into this type of genre then this is a great listen. The author writes a great story and the narrator is the best I've heard, yet. Truly enjoyable!

Disappointed!
Revisado: 11-21-09
I listened to the first book in the series and while not blown-away thought there was at least enough to the story to try the second in the series. I like the puzzle of trying to figure out how things can end "happily ever after". And while this book, also, had me trying to guess how it would end, the story line was at best weak and it seemed as though the author thought that by throwing in enough "sexually explicit" encounters we would ignore the fact that the writing was weak and the heart of the story weaker. I do, however, like the narrator who in my opinion managed to at least make what there was of a story enjoyable.

really weak heroine
Revisado: 06-26-09
interesting storyline, but weakly held together... heroine could be strong and empathetic at the same time instead she just comes across as weak
