Great Story Horrible Narration

I loved the story. It was good and well developed but these narrators had me rolling my eyes more than once. They didn’t pronounce words the same or follow the same emotion when recounting the same conversations. Outside of that. The build up was great.

The main character was weak.

I really got annoyed with the main character. She whined the entire time, was ungrateful, and just when you thought she was going to be empathetic she went right back to being a spoiled brat. For someone who comes from nothing I expected better. She keeps mentioning how she had no choice when she formerly acknowledged she did have a choice and made it. It’s infuriating that she can’t take responsibility for her own actions and then selfishly acted knowing that there were literal lives at stake.
