I loved this story! It was fast paced, the dialogue flowed so well, and the narration was perfect! I will be thinking about the goat man for some time now!

The narrators really brought life to this Yuletide tale of terror. I was completely immersed in Tom’s world and could not look away. Loved it!

Excellent story and flawless narration

If you read one only book this year- I enthusiastically recommend Beta by Sammy Scott. This book is the best horror sci fi book I have ever read and is also now in my top 5 books of all time. Picture this… a home fully powered by AI where your every need is met and you are living in the lap of luxury in a beautiful idyllic setting. Then picture this… everything goes to hell and then some. Now what are you waiting for? Go get this book on Amazon!

I am not sure how I feel about this book

The writing is actually amazing but the story itself was not good for me at all. It tried too hard to be shocking and extreme and missed putting a meaningful story around the gore. It was a lot like American Psycho but only the monotonous parts that go on for chapters. After this book, I feel like I could go to Los Angeles today and find my way to every landmark and navigate the highways with ease. I do think if you enjoy extreme torture horror and want a history lesson on Los Angeles in one book- this will work for you.

I love Andrew Mayhem!

I adored this book. What could possibly go wrong? Digging up an unmarked, freshly dug grave in a park late at night at the behest of a mysterious rich woman to retrieve a key from a corpse seems innocent enough but it goes really bad really quick. Andrew Mayhem is on the case and his last name indicates exactly what you can expect from this average Joe turned private investigator. The audiobook is narrated by Joe Hempel and his narration only enhances this fast paced, hilarious, suspenseful, and sometimes gross horror/thriller. This is an oldie but a goodie. Onward to book 2 in the series!

“You don’t belong here!”

Bundle up because you’re going to Dread’s Hand, Alaska. The harsh cold weather and the wolves aren’t the worst things to fear in this town. The locals say the devil himself is out in the wilderness stealing souls. This is my first Malfi book and I was very impressed. Bone White is beautifully atmospheric with Malfi painting each scene with precision. I also loved Malfi’s character development- I found myself rooting for the protagonist, Paul, throughout. Well done!

Corey is the everyman hero we never knew we needed!

Absolutely immaculate narration and a home run of a story. Boring accountant by day, Corey, has an office crush on co-worker Quinn and she has a bit of a “problematic” husband to say the least. As Corey tries his best to save Quinn and himself from the horrible mess he has inserted himself into-blood, sweat, and tears flow. I listened to this in one setting and I was so sad when it ended. Treat yourself to this one! It’s exceptional!
