Important Source for Teens and Their Parents

This book is a great resource for parents or anyone closely connected with teen girls. While there were specific pieces of counsel that personally don’t align with our family values, overall u believe what she had to offer is based on lived personal and professional experiences. Everyone can glean something from it. As a woman of color, I truly appreciate the chapter on the tailings off prejudice and discrimination.

An honest look at immigration, emotional, funny

Not what I expected but that’s good...

I wasn’t expecting the live action narration of the book and initially wasn’t sure I’d like it. However, I did. It made the story more authentic. The story was believable and a reflection of the inhuman way people of color and immigrants of color are treated in the U.S.
