Historia
The War on Warriors uncovers the deep roots of our dysfunction—a society that has forgotten the men who take risks, cut through red tape, and get their hands dirty. The only kind of men prepared to face the dangers that the Left pretends don’t exist. Unlike issues of education or taxes or crime, this problem doesn’t have a zip code solution. We can’t move away from it. We can’t avoid it. We have only one Pentagon. Either we take it back or surrender it altogether.

Historia
When we seek an example of great leaders with unalloyed courage, the person who comes to mind is Winston Churchill: the iconic, visionary war leader immune from the consensus of the day, who stood firmly for his beliefs when everyone doubted him. But how did young Winston become Churchill? What gave him the strength to take on the superior force of Nazi Germany when bombs rained on London and so many others had caved? In this landmark biography of Winston Churchill based on extensive new material, the true genius of the man, statesman, and leader can finally be fully understood.

Historia
In The War on the West, Douglas Murray shows how many well-meaning people have been fooled by hypocritical and inconsistent anti-West rhetoric. After all, if we must discard the ideas of Kant, Hume, and Mill for their opinions on race, shouldn’t we discard Marx, whose work is peppered with racial slurs and anti-Semitism? Embers of racism remain to be stamped out in America, but what about the raging racist inferno in the Middle East and Asia?

SUPERB ANALYSIS AND OBSERVATIONS
Revisado: 09-12-23
Great writing and narration. Great thinking. Wise conclusions. Highly recommended. Treating people as mass aggregations rather than by the content of their character as individuals is wrong.

Historia
When Van Tudor returns to his childhood home, he inherits more than the family farm. His grandfather used to tell him fantastic stories of spacemen and monsters, princesses and galactic knights. Little did Van realize, the old man's tales were more than fiction; they were real. Hidden beneath the old barn, Van’s legacy is waiting: a starship, not of this world. With his combat AI, an android bird named Perry, Van takes his first steps into the wider galaxy. He soon finds that space is far busier and more dangerous than he could have ever conceived.

MY FAVORITE - WHINY MILITARY SYFY
Revisado: 01-16-23
Stopped ~2/3 through. Story was meh, narration a bit better. Main character whines his way through every scene. A waste of time and money. But not by far the worst out there.

Good story. As a former Marine, it took me awhile to get past the 'trooper' nomenclature. Once that was done it was a fine listen. Well done military sci-fi. Well worth the price.

Historia
We are living through the most prosperous age in all of human history, yet we are listless, divided, and miserable. Wealth and comfort are unparalleled, but our political landscape is unmoored, and rates of suicide, loneliness, and chronic illness continue to skyrocket. How do we explain the gap between these truths? And how should we respond? For evolutionary biologists Heather Heying and Bret Weinstein, the cause of our troubles is clear: The accelerating rate of change in the modern world has outstripped the capacity of our brains and bodies to adapt.

Cliff's Notes of Cliff's Notes
Revisado: 06-20-22
Good exposition of important evolutionary psychology points. Wild leaps of interpretation, often appearing to contradict the basic points. Very weak understanding of physical sciences shows up stronger later in the book. Try to scare the reader with 'unintended consequences' then treat them as equally catastrophic when they clearly have a wide range of potential impact. Accept enviro-doom agitprop as a given. Use the word justice as a synonym for equal outcome. The further they go from their specialty the more silly they sound. But they are good within their specialty.

Historia
Since its release in 1949, The Hero with a Thousand Faces has influenced millions of readers by combining the insights of modern psychology with Joseph Campbell's revolutionary understanding of comparative mythology. In this book, Campbell outlines the Hero's Journey, a universal motif of adventure and transformation that runs through virtually all of the world's mythic traditions. He also explores the Cosmogonic Cycle, the mythic pattern of world creation and destruction.

TURGID, FLORID, ANCIENT ARTIFACT
Revisado: 12-01-18
This book contains profound insights smothered in alternating turgid and florid prose. The narration is mediocre but does what it can with the material. Mostly. The Hero's Journey originally put forth by this book is explained and illuminated infinitely better in much more recent publications. This book is only for literary archaeologists. I strongly urge anyone who wants to grasp the concepts to look to well-reviewed recent works on the Hero's Journey. All that said, Campbell did the world a great service with his concept and insight. He just expressed it in a way that makes the reader feel like a victim of the Bataan Death March.

No Go Zones. That's what they're called. And while the politically correct try to deny their existence, the shocking reality of these No Go Zones - where Sharia law can prevail and local police stay away - can be attested to by its many victims. Now Raheem Kassam, a courageous reporter and editor at Breitbart.com, takes us where few journalists have dared to tread - inside the No Go Zones, revealing areas that Western governments, including the United States, don't want to admit exist within their own borders.

INSIGHT, BALANCE, EXCELLENCE
Revisado: 08-21-17
Hard facts, exceptional balance in analysis and many insights about Islam as practiced in the West. The author is a top notch journalist who will likely be scourged by those who have perverted the word journalist into a synonym for rabid ideologue. His exposition of the issue is complete and balanced. His proposed solutions are thoughtful. The narration is excellent. Worth every penny.

Historia
The Strange Death of Europe is a highly personal account of a continent and culture caught in the act of suicide. Declining birth rates, mass immigration, and cultivated self-distrust and self-hatred have come together to make Europeans unable to argue for themselves and incapable of resisting their own comprehensive alteration as a society and an eventual end.

Revisado: 06-30-17
Superb narration of fascinating, timely information. European self-loathing has always provided a telling insight into its political behavior. This well-researched story projects the only possible outcomes going forward. All include the suicide, death or murder of European Civilization. The U.S. has been duly warned.
