Historia
With more than half a million copies sold, Robert Mason's Chickenhawk is one of the best-selling books ever written about the Vietnam War. Fascinated with flying from a young age, Mason earned his private pilot's license even before graduating high school. He enlisted in the army in 1964 and endured an extremely challenging "weeding out" process in an effort to fly helicopters. Sent to Vietnam, he survived more than 1,000 air combat missions despite the violence and brutality exploding all around him.

Amazing memoir
Revisado: 10-18-22
Makes me want to go fly helicopters. Written very well and easy to follow along with. I learned a lot. It lead me to the documentary he did with Harrison ford called "flight line: the army pilots of Vietnam". If you don't have time for this book. The doc is up on YouTube and it's an hour long. Very cool stuff but I also recommend reading this book.

Historia
Anthony Fokker: The Flying Dutchman Who Shaped American Aviation tells the larger-than-life true story of maverick pilot and aircraft manufacturer Anthony Fokker. Fokker came from an affluent Dutch family. Despite not receiving a traditional education, he stumbled his way into aviation as a young stunt pilot in Germany in 1910. He survived a series of spectacular crashes and rose to fame. A combination of industrial espionage, luck, and deception then propelled him to become Germany's leading WWI aircraft manufacturer. When the German Revolution swept the country, Fokker made a spectacular escape to the US.

Interesting for aviation history buffs. A tad dry but interesting none the less. Some of the flying stories were interesting. Glad I spent the 15+ hours listening
