Lovely In-depth Story

As an young AFOL of LEGO it was really nice to hear about the companies beginning’s. The author of the book does a great job telling the story in a simple, cohesive way. This book makes me want to visit Billund Denmark. Great read for LEGO fans.

The story was very good, but the background sounds, groans and moans was overwhelming. Took away from the story and was quite distracting. I think it wouldve been better with out it. Overall, voice cast was good. Story was very good. 7/10

The story felt slow, and I felt the end to be anti climatic. There were some highlighted points in the middle of the story and I will commend the attempt for the story to take place in various amounts of times and settings to keep things interesting. Overall though, I felt no build up to anything spectacular.

Very Entertaining!

Ill be honest, What drew me to this book was the fact that it is read by Kyle McCarley. He had narrated the Gone series by Michael Grant and he is fantastic. His performance in this book is spectacular!!
The story itself was very linear, strolling gradually over the course of the first school year. Nonetheless, it had very entertaining, high intensity moments.
All of the main characters are loveable & complex in their own ways. And anyone who reads this is bound to have favorites.
This is a great read, and I will be continuing to Year 2, 3, and 4!
