Historia
Often downplayed in the excitement of starting up a new business venture is one of the most important decisions entrepreneurs will face: should they go it alone, or bring in cofounders, hires, and investors to help build the business? More than just financial rewards are at stake. Friendships and relationships can suffer. Bad decisions at the inception of a promising venture lay the foundations for its eventual ruin.

Boring
Revisado: 03-31-24
It doesn’t seem like the author has any real world experience or advice to give for actual founders. Seems like a guy just did a book report on people he studied. Very dry. No emotion. Does not seem like an actual entrepreneur giving any real quality advice or knowledge.

Historia
How did Fidel Castro fool the CIA for a generation? Why did Neville Chamberlain think he could trust Adolf Hitler? Why are campus sexual assaults on the rise? Do television sitcoms teach us something about the way we relate to each other that isn't true? While tackling these questions, Malcolm Gladwell was not solely writing a book for the page. He was also producing for the ear. In the audiobook version of Talking to Strangers, you’ll hear the voices of people he interviewed - scientists, criminologists, military psychologists.

Waste of Money
Revisado: 10-22-21
If you have sold for longer than a day, you will get almost nothing from this book. I’m not familiar with the author, but he seems like an amateur salesman.

It’s just a sales pitch for a “system” that any business owner should already be well aware of. It’s purely common sense stuff.

This is meant for someone in an MLM company
Revisado: 02-14-21
I was a little disappointed as 99% of this material is only applicable to someone in an MLM company. I was initially thinking it was meant for a normal sales person. There’s always something that I can glean from an audio book, so it wasn’t a complete waste of time, but I was disappointment nonetheless.

Weird change
Revisado: 09-07-20
About 6.5 hrs in, the author seems to come unhinges while talking about emotional control. The first several hours were very professional and informative. But then all of a sudden, the author starts cussing like a sailor and writing very angrily. Very strange.

Good but basic
Revisado: 08-23-20
This was a good book and the pdf has some good features, but it is more for beginners in social skills. It is mostly basic stuff. If you’ve read several people skills books and are a professional in the world of selling, I would say you should probably turn to something more advanced. If you are a person who just wants to learn how to communicate better and have not spent much time developing social skills, this book is perfect for you.
