Historia
Life is busier than ever for Innkeeper Dina DeMille and Sean Evans. But it’s about to get even more chaotic when Sean's werewolf mentor is kidnapped. To find him, they must host an intergalactic spouse-search for one of the most powerful rulers in the Galaxy. Dina is never one to back down from a challenge. That is, if she can manage her temperamental Red Cleaver chef; the consequences of her favorite Galactic ex-tyrant's dark history; the tangled politics of an interstellar nation; and oh, yes, keep the wedding candidates from a dozen alien species from killing each other.

Love it! Amazing addition to the series.
Revisado: 01-23-23
New characters and lots of new twists and turns. The ending is amazing and way more complex than I expected. Hopefully, that means lots more books. I think this is my favorite of the series. I see folks complaining about the narrator, but I genuinely liked the narration. It was different, but not an issue for me. I don't ordinarily like the pre-chapter summary, but this worked for me. Perhaps because it was a much longer book and I was listening to it over several days. Highly recommend this book!

Historia
Erik Tarverro is a skilled blacksmith, a better swordsman—and hated for his mixed aeradi parentage. Denied mastery of his craft in the human city he grew up in, he accepts a risky contract from a dangerous stranger. With new enemies at his heels, he leaps at the chance to join his father's people in the sky city of Newport. Despite his human blood, he finds his place among the aeradi: heir to an ancient noble family. But Erik's enemies will have blood, and the peace between his people and the Draconan dragon riders is like a powder keg. All it would take is one spark.

Enjoyable - wish there were more in the series
Revisado: 11-17-22
Overall, I really liked this book. The characters were interesting and compelling. There were some slow spots, but the overall experience was good and I'd like to see more of these characters. Unlike some other readers, I really didn't think the main character was too perfect. Things did always break his way, but it was well done and it worked for me. There are clearly paths to turn this into a series and I'd love to read more about these characters.

Love the Changling!
Revisado: 05-06-19
This was a solid 3rd book to the series and I hope it doesn't end here. The story has lots of twists and solves issues with great new characters and a few of the old team. It looked like Mary was going to get some further personal identity/power development and I had my hopes up, but that didn't really come to pass. But, the groundwork was basically laid for growth -- so possible in the next book she will find more than a wildcat's powers. There were hints of future avenues so I'm hoping the story doesn't end here. But, if it does, it was a satisfying and mostly unexpected ending.
The narrator here has become one of my very favorites! I've been reading other books just because he is the narrator. None as great as the Glynn Stewart books, but several were well worth reading.
