Worth your time!
Revisado: 12-26-21
This is an amazing book. There are so many great life lessons in this book. As much as Will Smith has accomplished in his life, I never got the sense that he was overly full of himself. This is definitely worth the read!

Useful Nuggets LOL!!
Revisado: 12-25-20
Comedians have a knack for being great motivational speakers. Something about laughing disarms us and we stop taking ourselves so seriously. Kevin Hart does such an excellent job providing words and truths to live by that seem so obvious but most of us ignore. You would be hard pressed finding a more useful and entertaining way to spend 6 hours of your life. Great listen!!

Historia
In his sixth fable, best-selling author Patrick Lencioni takes on a topic that almost everyone can relate to: the causes of a miserable job. Millions of workers, even those who have carefully chosen careers based on true passions and interests, dread going to work, suffering each day as they trudge to jobs that make them cynical, weary, and frustrated. It is a simple fact of business life that any job, from investment banker to dishwasher, can become miserable.

Powerful message for managers and non-managers
Revisado: 09-14-20
I highly recommend this book! It opened my eyes to how we over complicate simple things that can have such a positive impact on people’s lives.
So many managers are miserable in their jobs because they were promoted out of an individual contributor position and no longer have a strong grasp on the three factors outlined in this book.
Many individual contributors are miserable in their jobs because them and/or their managers don’t grasp these three factors.
There are several action items I have taken from this book that I am sure will improve the lives of the people who report to me and the people I report to.

Scott Adams has likely failed at more things than anyone you’ve ever met or anyone you’ve even heard of. So how did he go from hapless office worker and serial failure to the creator of Dilbert, one of the world’s most famous syndicated comic strips, in just a few years? In How to Fail at Almost Everything and Still Win Big, Adams shares the game plan he’s followed since he was a teen: invite failure in, embrace it, then pick its pocket.

Extraordinarily good advice from a professional cartoonist!
Revisado: 07-09-20
Scott Adams touches on a lot of things in this book which can be a bit overwhelming. However, there are a few key concepts that are driven home repeatedly. For me, those concepts are very enlightening.
Any book which provides advice should be taken with a grain of salt and Scott Adams encourages that thinking when reading this book.
I don’t want to spoil the book or trivialize the key concepts with a summary. I just highly
recommend you read it and take out of it what makes sense for you.

This clear, accessible, and even humorous book is ideal for young listeners new to economics and to all listeners who seek a better understanding of the full sweep of economic history and ideas.

Very approachable intro to Economics
Revisado: 06-07-20
I have zero background or understanding of economics other than cost vs benefits. This book helped me to dip my toes in the water without drowning. The history of where it started to where we are currently makes a lot of sense.
One thing I found particularly enjoyable about this book was the general lack of bias towards which ideas where good versus bad. The book focused on the outcomes and the trade offs that were made following particular economic principles.
Last point. The narration was excellent!

Revisado: 10-12-14
Any additional comments?
My first impression of series was reality tv's The Bachelor but there is a bit more to the story. The main character is a bit lost and pathetic at times but in the end, you get what you expect from a story like this. It was entertaining and is one of many dystopian stories that can be adapted to film. It's not a epic story but a good one.
