Historia
It’s still winter, but everyone’s on the move. Rags the goblin is heading north, seeking allies against the Goblin Lord. And Erin is going home...or trying to, at least. She’s determined to bring back cheer to The Wandering Inn - as well as Christmas! But the coldest time of the year leads to strange encounters with a number of people. At the same time, Ryoka Griffin is far from what she would consider to be “home”. Deep in the north, in the city of Invrisil, she finds herself as the guest of Magnolia Reinhart.

simply amazing
Revisado: 04-10-23
the story keeps expanding in amazing ways. the narration is by and far the most impressive I've ever heard. speaking in different voices with different dialects is impressive enough, but to sing in those voices consistently at different skill levels well is no easy feat. kudos.

Historia
The city of Celum is not much like Liscor at all. While Erin is surrounded by familiar, human faces, she’s far from home and without her inn. At the same time, a certain ill-tempered Lyonette is squatting in Erin’s inn, and Goblins are on the move. The Goblin Lord’s threat reaches across the entire region, and the Redfang tribe has rallied against him with the Floodplains tribe, although their Chieftains do not agree on some crucial matters. This winter, there is only snow, Goblins, magic, and iambic pentameter.

This is a story...
Revisado: 03-22-23
I love the story so far. The story is fantastic. The only qualm that I had in this one was how many times it was repeated that this is a story or this is a tale. I understood the flair that it added but I've nearly Ripped my hair out hoping that they would not say it again.
The characters have been developed quite well.
There were some parts where the characters went the direction that was expectedid and I nearly wanted to cry for them. Not because it was a Bad thing for the story but because it was so sad for the character in the story. On the same coin I nearly cried for some of the characters good developments.

So many mixed feelings.
Revisado: 12-26-19
Seriously?! it started hard to follow, but quickly I caught on and the story unfolded beautifully. The story was heartwrenching and heartwarming. Then it ended. As I was wanting more and more, it ended. I loved it and I hated that it was over, especially since the story was over despite not having a traditional end.

Historia
For eons, conquering dungeons has been the most efficient way to become a strong adventurer. Although not everything is as straightforward as it seems. Several questions have always plagued the minds of those who enter these mythical places of power: why are there so many monsters? Where do the amazing weaponry and heavy gold coins come from? Why does the very air fill with life-giving energies? Cal has all of the answers to these age-old questions, for a very simple reason. He is a Dungeon Heart.

I loved the scientific outlook they used for magic in this book! The humour was able to be picked up on by people that hadn't been tuned in and was enough to grasp attention.

Historia
Set in present-day Los Angeles, Junk explores an epic conspiracy, one at work for thousands of years that involves total takeover of the planet Earth by aliens. In the wild, souped-up vision of Les Bohem - the acclaimed, Emmy-winning writer of the Steven Spielberg miniseries, Taken - the world is at the end stage of long-range plot that involves a gigantic genetic-engineering project. The aliens who have invaded us have no planet. No spaceship is coming. Instead, a small advance force comes, breeds, and dies - thus becoming an anomaly in our DNA that can’t be explained.

Revisado: 07-20-17
Autumn Birt did some amazing things with her story. I personally loved that she thought out the elementals abilities so well. I remember a part where I was ecstatic thinking "Oh my! Did she just do what I think she did?!" And then she waited to verify it. It was awesome.

"Only in that dark heart of London where it's always three a.m., where human and inhuman can feed their darkest desires, do I feel at home. Probably because I was born here. What I do is find things - people, objects - and in this case, the truth about the origins of the Nightside. That's what Lady Luck has hired me to investigate. But the more I dig, the more I discover, not about the Nightside but about the great question in my life: exactly who - and what - was my long-vanished mother."

Just keeps getting better
Revisado: 10-11-16
I started the Nightside with a bunch of short stories and have been hooked into since. This installment follows John to some pretty awesome revelations and the series just keeps getting better and more in depth. The narrator catches the atmosphere magically.
