Fantastic Characterization & Wrapup

Sanderson has done it again! What a great book! He just knows how to make such relatable characters and take you on a journey as they grow and change. You come to love his characters. As usual the wrapup of the way of kings will leave you in awe and wanting more.

Kind of a letdown

After listening to The Martian I guess I had my expectations to high for this book. The story and characters did not feel as well developed, and the plot a bit flimsy. Also the excessive use of Vulgarity seemed unnecessary and detracted from the story, almost like they were forced into the story after the main story was written.
All in all it was a somewhat interesting story with a smattering if believable details, but needed more pages to fully develop and execute the plot... Hopefully his next book is better.

A great taste of life in the early 1900's

This story is captivating and great for young and old alike. It is amazing to listen to the ways that the author and his family were able to make ends meet through their ingenuity and industry. Great lessons of morality taught throughout. Well worth your time.
