Picoult captures those early days of the pandemic in a real and powerful way. The parallel lives we could be living or maybe should be living brings the imagination alive. Loved every minute.

Great New Characters

Great, short book

I really enjoyed this book. Having grownup with TNG, it was great to have backstory from the Star Gazer and more on Jack Crusher and his death. These were big themes in the series, wish I had known it earlier!
My one wish for it would be for it to have been a full length, fully developed story. Gayes McFadden was great, I enjoyed having one of the original actors as the narrator.

I got this book because it was free and I’m interested in WWII. Outside the extraordinary period in history in which the book is set, I didn’t buy in to the characters or story. Wasn’t a big fan of the way the narrator did the male voices either.

This was a really enjoyable audiobook. The story was entertaining, I particularly enjoyed all of the 80s references....very nostalgic.
Will Wheaton did a great job with the narrative.
