Narrator ruined it!!!

The narrator has as sexy a voice as scraping metal on a chalkboard!!! She is completely monotone. There is nothing alluring or seductive about the narration. She could very well be reading a mechanics manual. The book probably had a chance if read correctly.

Booooooring! Bad Narration!

The narrator contributes immensely to the boredom and uninteresting stories. I started two different stories and could not finish either of them! The narrator is awe full and the book, at least the two stories I started listening to, is a no go. I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT.

Strange choice for a narrator

I hated the narration! You could not tell when one character changed to another. Hicksons voice never changed once therefore every character sounded the same. The best narrator is Hugh Fraser by far! I was very disappointed and there were times during the book that I would get lost trying to know which character was being narrated. Absolutely did not like Hickson as a Narrator.

A Sherlock Holmes book I actually didn’t like!

This book was not a typical mystery/thriller the reader is used to. This book talks about gods and deities and other unworldly creatures that make this book dark and unenjoyable. It changes the facts of many of the other books previously written and in a much worse light. I personally did not like it and do not recommend it to anyone who wants to read a good old fashioned Sherlock Holmes mystery.
