Quirky, dark & highly entertaining

While listening to the book, I was surprised that people describe it as funny at all, since it’s actually quite tragic. I found it thrilling, extremely sad, but definitely did end up laughing out loud at points. Eleanor drew me in and I felt every bit of loneliness in memory that I’ve experienced. She is weirdly relatable, considering the tragedies in her life, which unfold in perfectly rationed snippets. She is a wonderful character because she’s certainly not a victim, in spite of being a perfect template for one. She is quirky and delightful. I really loved this book.

This book contains a lot of misinformation. The author is selling a diet that she hasn’t been on long enough.
Also, there isn’t a single downside being discussed. Our hospitals are full of athletes that changed to a keto diet. Every healthcare professional I consulted on this topic warned me that it will cause permanent damage to your body! And every athlete I know has either failed to finish races, or has been hospitalized on a low carb diet.
