Walking in Unity is about bringing Christ-centered answers to issues of race and racism. Drawing a clear distinction between the secular culture's instructions for agreement and Scripture's call for unity, authors Moniqe Duson and Krista Bontrager help you explore what the Bible really says about ethnic harmony and how Christians ultimately find their common identity in Christ.

Shorter tells the story of entrepreneurs and leaders all over the world who have discovered how to shrink the workweek without cutting salaries or sacrificing productivity or revenues. They show that by reducing distractions, eliminating inefficiencies, and creating time for high-quality focus and collaboration, four-day workweeks can boost recruitment and retention, make leaders more thoughtful and companies more sustainable, and improve work-life balance.

Definitely worth looking into
Revisado: 02-25-25
The author did a great job of narrating his point. And showing different ways that it could be applied. Definitely an area I will be putting more thought into and definitely recommend reading the book. Although it does get a bit repetitive, I do value the information.

Everyone wants ownership, but almost no one gets it. Whether we’re talking about the start-up game, the crypto game, the freelance game, or the lemonade stand game—most paths to ownership lead to dead ends. That’s why Codie Sanchez carved a new, smarter path to total freedom. In Main Street Millionaire, she reveals the method she teaches her community of seven-figure investors for building wealth by creating a portfolio of boring businesses. That’s right—the money is not in flashy startups or in the corner office.

First time reading a book one star, but it deserved it
Revisado: 01-16-25
The production quality of this book was bad and confusing. The story of what was going on was all about how great this guy is and what he could do being a Christian. It seemed like he was kind of trying to point towards God on this, but in every chapter he talked about how great he, (the author) was in helping these people. Even his scripture references were very weak. I was able to learn one lesson of that book and that was how not to produce an audiobook sharing the message of Jesus.

This book built on some great principles that I already knew. Giving me ways to help better integrate them with some of my business partners as well as ref them with other companies that I work with. Highly recommended for anyone looking to get an entrepreneurship to give you an idea of how to start off, right.

Historia
Overwork is the new normal. Rest is something to do when the important things are done - but they are never done. Looking at different forms of rest, from sleep to vacation, Silicon Valley futurist and business consultant Alex Soojung-Kim Pang dispels the myth that the harder we work the better the outcome. He combines rigorous scientific research with a rich array of examples of writers, painters, and thinkers - from Darwin to Stephen King - to challenge our tendency to see work and relaxation as antithetical.

The author understands how hard
Revisado: 12-06-24
One of my great takeaways from this is at the author acknowledges how easy it is to get off course and how hard it is to get back on. And how hard it is to stay consistent. I truly recommend this book for anybody who is trying to create More order stability and peace in their life.

I’ve heard of many principles in this book but have not had time to dive into them until now seeing how they apply what they need to do and how to best do them was truly helpful. Although the title is repeated well over a couple hundred times it definitely helps to really Understand the point about the one thing.

Prepare to hear ideas you've never considered. This ancient vision is new again, and adopting it today will take a complete family revision. But few are able to locate the root of the problem. This audiobook offers a surprising perspective. Maybe the way forward for the family can be found in the past. The Bible provides a lost family blueprint that is almost entirely unknown by modern Christians.

This book was well done and it was really cool to hear the author as well as his son read the book. It is definitely good to get in-depth information about each of the seven habits. Versus just the short one paragraph version that a lot of people like to give.
