Surprisingly fantastic and refreshing

The description does not do this books uniqueness justice. It was refreshing to read a fantasy novel take a different outlook on what a fantasy world can be. Many familiar character types, but portrayed in a very unique way. loved it start to finish. The narration was excellent as well. Hope there there is a book 2

Solid story

A solid book if not slightly predictable at times. Ray Porter is kind of the gold standard so you know the narration was great. Worth a listen.

The Narrator was good

Look, I gave this book an overall 4. I stand by that, but it's only because the narrator just did a Damn good job! Purchased this book on facebook Recommendation from another narrator I follow and will definitely pickup more from Todd, but not the story on this particular book was just not for me. Story was decent.

Best of 2019!

Seriously! This is the best Audiobook i've listened to in 2019!

One of the few truly unique stories i've read in a long time. Nick is an executive turned Hitman for the devil of bureaucracy and does it so well, he gets out of his contract with the duke of hell. He does unthinkable things and is callous from it. Through the story, he gains friendships and teams up with some really interesting characters and while the story is self contained, the bond the characters formed makes you hope there will be more in the devils gunman world! KC really dose a fantastic job once again with accents and the vocal range. He's really become one of my favorites and someone I find myself searching to see if he has any new audiobooks out.

5 Stars all around and my favorite audiobook thus far this year, possibly in the past few years! If you like urban fantasy, fantasy or speculative fiction in general, this is a story for you! (violence warning, but nothing over the top)

Fun Book 1

Was a fun listen. I've listened to all of KC Johnston's books thus far and just wish he had more out, makes it hard to play follow the narrator to get a new book. Space rogues was a fun book, but it's short. hope the next ones in the series get longer. overall was action packed and fast paced. interested to see how the characters progress together in the next books.

Awesome for all ages!

Listened to this one straight through with my daughter in 2 halves. This is listed as a children’s title but I could see it in contemporary sci-fi as well. Clean fun and an excellent story for all age ranges. Im playing follow the narrator at this point and wish this guy had more. Now I guess I’ll play follow the author with mr. Mcbee.

I'm Hooked!

First audiobook ever and glad I finally did this. I'm an avid reader, but my eyes hate me more and more every day. The reader did a great job with the voices and accents and I really felt like I was being pulled into the story. I wish the story was longer and had a bit more backstory, but was a great fast listen. Very pleased I finally did this and hope all audiobooks are at least this good, though I have a feeling this sets a high standard! can't wait for the rest of this trilogy, and hope there is more in this universe. Do yourself a favor and get this book!
