Historia
How much do we really know about those we love? Kate is visiting Albania with her husband, Paul, a much needed break from Paul's stressful website business. 'Hold still,' says Kate, taking a picture as Paul steps onto the hotel room balcony. 'We'll always be together,' Paul responds. Suddenly there is screaming below and a blaring car horn. Kate stares down from the balcony at the broken body of her husband lying lifeless in the street.

Good police novel
Revisado: 03-20-21
A nice police thriller for fans of crime novels. It was certainly a breath of fresh air from the excess of domestic thrillers out there, that are becoming a little too much. This is different. It explores more of a criminal side but it does carry some domestic drama. However, I found it to drag a bit, it definitely could have been more fast paced. I wish I had loved it, I did not, but it's an okay book overall.

Historia
Laura Cavendish can't wait to meet the woman who's won her son's affection. Despite a successful career in television and a long, prosperous marriage, Laura's world revolves around kind, talented Daniel. She pictures his new girlfriend, Cherry, becoming a close friend and confidante ...one day, even a daughter-in-law. But although Cherry is beautiful and amiable, Laura can't warm to her. There's something about the possessive way she touches Daniel, the little lies Laura detects. Cherry seems to resent Laura, driving a wedge between mother and son - until one day Daniel is injured.

Good one for domestic thriller fans.

Slow burn. It actually drags on, In my opinion. Too many unnecessary details. But good story overall, enjoyable.

Historia
Daniel is everything I ever dreamed of. A handsome, successful doctor who truly swept me off my feet. I can’t wait to get back from our honeymoon and begin our new lives together. Except, rather than taking us back to our flat, Daniel announces we are moving to a new house in a different city. And when we arrive, the house is fully furnished, with plates in the cupboard, pictures on the walls and new clothes in my closet. It’s like someone already lives here. It seems a bit strange. But I know Daniel is just trying to make sure our new life is perfect, right from the start.

Un acierto para los thrillers domésticos
Revisado: 02-24-21
