Nice story but terrible narration

I’m sad that all of the books by this author are read by the same narrator. Her timing is way off. It seems as though she’s bored the entire book, she has no voices to distinguish different characters, her tone is monotonous and her cadence is the worst I’ve ever heard. I finished this one but I won’t listen to another book read by her. It’s a shame become the story itself, although short, was decently written. Don’t waste a credit.

I couldn’t get past chapter 7

The narration is so terrible I can’t even enjoy the book. It may be well written but I couldn’t tell. I’m sad to see that all of the books in this series are read by the same person. I won’t be listening to any more of them. The words are choppy, there’s no feeling at all and it sounded immature and robotic. Quite literally the worst I’ve listened to.

Unimpressed

This is the first book I’ve read by this author and I was not impressed. The descriptive words were repetitive and the story lacked depth. This author should have used a thesaurus. I rolled my eyes quite a bit at the cheesiness too. I think this is the most shallow book I’ve read to date. I hope the next book in the series is better or I might just move this author off of my list entirely. It might have had more appeal if I were a new adult. Maybe...

My least favorite so far but still good

I was looking forward to reading Mark’s story but was a little disappointed in this one. Maybe it was the spy angle. It is my least favorite in this series. I did still enjoy it though. It’s worth the read.

This is, by far, the best book I have read to date. My chest swelled and ached for the entire narration. Andi and Zachary did an outstanding job on this, as usual. I cried tears of happiness and sadness in almost every chapter. Tara Sivec did a superb job of describing everything and making me feel like I was standing there watching it all unfold before my eyes. This is a book I will visit over and over again and it will help bring me back to my own feelings in my relationship when I feel I may be losing my way. Bravo to everyone involved in helping this story come to life. It’s my favorite audiobook to date.

Hard to get into.

I had a really hard time getting into this book. I kept having to rewind and go back because my mind wandered throughout the narration. Not sure if it was the narrator or the story line itself. I did get through it and enjoyed it near the end but it’s my least favorite book in this series. I’m glad it was included in my membership. I love this author but I would have been upset to spend a credit on it.

I had butterflies the entire time

I really enjoyed this book so much. It’s extremely heartfelt and Andi Arndt did a wonderful job as always. Her voice is always the best. I found myself melting so many times. Saying awe and tears brimming in my eyes. I didn’t laugh much but that’s okay since most of that was replaced with swooning this time and a constant flutter in my belly. The sex scenes are spicy too with a nice side of naughty and raw in them. I recommend this book.

A favorite!! 🔥🔥🔥

This is one of the sexiest books I’ve read so far and Jacob Morgan takes it to another level with his amazing voice. HOT and endearing and funny all in one. Worth every single second over and over. I’ll be listening to this book again very soon. I loved it!

My favorite in this series

This book is my favorite of all. It was so charming and sweet. The sex scenes don’t go into as much detail but it still hot. That Scottish accent, by both narrators, and the sweet way Lance talked to Poppy just melted me and filled me with butterflies more than a few times. I found myself stopping my activities and just standing there listening, lost in the romance of it all. I highly recommend this book and I’ll be reading it again very soon. I would love a few follow up books on this couple.

Tears and laughter constantly

What can I say? Emma Chase does it again and Andi and Zachary exceeded all of my expectations with their narration. The ability of Emma to write such steamy scenes that you feel in your sexual core and still bring tears to your eyes with such feeling and passion makes her, by far, one of my favorite authors I’ve read so far. This story is funny, hot, joyful and so endearingly romantic I was sad to see it end. Saving this to listen to again and again. Get it! You won’t regret this one at all. If you are or have been a single mom, this is a must read.
