It is simply perfect

I can not imagine a better experience then the one given to me in this audio book. The performance was astounding and the characters and the world so well built to the point that even after listening several times I still get the pang of sadness when the story ends because it was such an immersive experience. you can't have a single favorite character as they are all so well built and I love Carl, Mort and Kubbo.

This was an amazing series.

This is by far my favorite series. I have a very large collection and building but I doubt anything will ever top this. Hell I thought Harry Potter couldn't be topped but this sure does in every way.. This should be a TV series or movie or perhaps a cartoon movie or series because I think some of these battles in the series would be epic to watch.

Bad! Bad! Bad!

Worst narrator ever and bad ploting. I could not make it past the sexond chapter because of horrible narration but even in the first two chapters there were character issues. in the second chapter they introduce the Cajun Astrophysicist who then states he doesn't know he is not an astrophysicist and then proceeds to talk about astrophysics.

Amazingly Perfect!

This set was perfect! I can not find anything to complain about! I could, I guess, complain certain people didn't get what was coming to them, but it fits perfectly in the story.

It is not just a one-sided story. It has multiple players working to different ends, and the author executed that complexity with fantastic ease for the listener!

The performance was terrible and painful

this was a terrible performance I went from laughing at how terrible it was to being annoyed by it. The story maybe ok if it was not butchered by the performer but ill never know.

about time they got a decent voice actor!

the stories are great but there poor performers almostbruin it, but not this time! the performer did a much better job than all the others so far.

weird voicea

Terrible voice acting. the guy's normal voice would have been perfect, but he ruined several of the characters by making them sound like the opposite sex. It was very frustrating!

Good story, Poor recording quality

The story is good, and the narrator is okay. The narrator kind of sounds like an ai or something which is different. The problem is with the quality of the recording. The editor did a poor job of cutting the recording so when they did cut a part out it comes back rough and unnatural. There is a constant bass sound maybe from tapping the mic or breathing into it and lots of banging sounds and sometimes the sounds of voices not related to the story in the background.

great plot and compelling story

this story is awesome and I can't wait to hear the others; however, I do have a few issues that almost killed it for me.

the only issues I have are not about the story as much as it's execution. The narrator was whining like a child begging for a toy in the beginning but did get his footing rapidly and I almost passed on this when I heard the whining in the audio sample. The other issue is the painfully long-winded way the writer described simple things and the over sharing description of action sequences.

If the story itself wasn't so compelling I would have ended my listening after barely starting and I am very glad I did not as this is exactly the story I have been wanting to hear. and it is probably the story you want to hear too!
