Simply marvelous. I feel to humbled by the fantastically precise and yet unpretentious prose to even attempt a detailed review. I'll simply say that this is a wonderfully convoluted and somewhat extreme (it IS Ian), but yet strangely relatable story. Add to this a brillant narator an you have a perfect litterary experience that doesn't even make you feel guilty for not "realy reading it".

The reason this gets two stars is that it is fundamentally exciting albeit extremely predictable. Also the writing is actually funny in places. Hovewer, It is extremely American in a bad way. The plot holes are so extreme that they form singularities. The decissions made by the personae are often totally unbelievable. And last but not least for Rutgers narator: if you can't do an accent, don't. This accent is a hollywood version of Swedish accent with a little German thrown in. It is certainly not Dutch.
