I was super excited to read this book or listen to it rather but the audio is really difficult to get through. There are points where it is like paused, and it comes in louder. It makes it really difficult aside from the pronunciation errors. There’s just a lot of choppiness to the audio quality, not happy about that

This was a nice break from the theory. epistemology, and rigorous readings I am doing for my M.A. I was able to just relax and listen as I became immersed in Orisha. I kept telling my sister how real the book is even though it is classified as a fantasy and how the storyline parallels so much in our lives as African Americans disconnected from our Ancestral powers, targeted because we are magical. I loved this.
