so I am new to the mm romance genre. I picked this up as it was narrated by one of my favorite guys. and I absolutely loved it. Rush was a joy every time he was on the page. Teddy did a good job really displaying his ADHD and the way Hunter just sort of grounds him and is patient with him and works through him and loves him as he is. just had my heart squeezing so bad. this was such a sweet and loving romance. I recommend for anybody.

bi- Awakening

this book had me squealing and kicking my feet like a little girl. it was much spicier than her previous books that I've read but it was done very tastefully. it didn't feel four-store overdone. Gareth and Kayden were so sweet together. the banter was top tier. I did not think I was going to let Gareth so much but he's just this precious little drama Queen. I love the fact that he has a praise. kink.

female narration

I got to chapter 8 before I had to stop listening and just decided to physically read the book. Really like the story and the male narrator was really good. I just could not get past the female narration. it's like she was rushing to get through a script. The goal of any narration is to feel like you're being told a story or being inside the internal monologue of the person in the story and I just I just could not get past her. Rook's narrator was really good though.

perfect narration

The narrators really earned their paycheck with this one. I swear I listed this all in one sitting. I was completely wrapped. I really enjoyed the story, although I felt it could have done more with an overview of what was going on with like her mom and trying to sell her off in marriage. it seemed like outdated concept for a modern society. but definitely we'll probably be listening again.

Pleasantly surprised

I got the first book to this series kind of on a lark and I did not think I would be enjoying it so much. I like the overall story and the world building is fun to get into. I like that there's spice but it's not vulgar it's done tastefully so it doesn't overpower the story and it doesn't go needlessly on. it's a part of the story, not the point of the story. I already got the third one. this is just fun. it's just fun. highly recommend if you just need something to pass a little bit of time.

The stolen air duology

I really enjoyed this book. the performance was absolutely wonderful. it does sort of make the next book the prisoner's throne fall a little flat. (I didn't feel like the performance was as strong ).I feel like this is the duology that would have been better served having both Wren and oak's point of view split in both books. instead of being one than the other . There were times where I feel like I really needed what oak was thinking (mostly when he first kissed her which he never comes back to in his point of view ). other times I really feel like I needed things from Wren point of view (like when she broke the curse on The stone trolls). I really hope we get more out of these two. Holly Black left a few little nuggets in there that I feel I could come up later. Can't wait to see what comes next.

so I'm working my way through the bridgerton books and I do believe I like this one the best I think Daphne and Simon being a close second. My one critique which is mor I think a personal thing is that the person who narrates uses the same voices in like every book. so Simon Colin Philip they all sound the same and so do the the girls small critique but that's it.

I feel like this should have been a split narrative

I really like having oaks point of view but I feel like what could have been done is if we'd had a split narrative in between wren and oak I feel like doing this would have rounded out the narrative a little bit better. I do hope we get another book elfham kind of want to see where they end up.

Major feels!!!

I loved it!!! I left how each of the stories was an explanation of a little tidbit of information that you got in the other books how Crescent got on to her satellite how Thorn loved his ship and Kai's point of view in his first meeting with Cinder loved every page of it!!
