Reader was a bit deadpan.
Story itself was fascinating. The degree of prejudices and stereotypes in that time period are so disheartening even though many of those still exist today.

The title is very misleading. I could not finish and was sorry I wasted my credit on this. Can I get another? Too much time was spent on the author and her life story and accomplishments.
