This book popped up as a suggestion for me to buy - and somehow I clicked on it and bought it - the process was so quick, the next thing I knew I was an hour into the story and WOW! I could not “put” the book down...

James does a remarkable job at telling a detailed, unique, sacred, and intense (true) story of a part of remote Alaska, it’s residents, and an accused murderer that I had never heard of! I felt like I was there, right there, throughout every word and situation.

I have had to return a few books I didn’t like due to poor storytelling, misstated facts, and consistent repetition...but this book will make you wish it was 3 hours longer! True talent right here.

Do yourself a favor and pick this quick read up! You’ll have it finished by the time you head into work the next day.

I was a hater ... big time. I saw the title and thought, “WTF?! Another one of these money making books by some random guru???” Next! After months of it popping up on my Audible “thought you may like” screen I said, “Okay! This is the last money book I’ll read. And I’ll be right that it’s awful.” BOY was I horribly wrong!

I like pragmatism. I like things that work and things that work well, meaning, can I actually apply this to my life? I think pragmatism rules the world. Jen did an exceptional job at not only conveying her own story about money to the world, but HOW to specifically make changes in our own lives about HOW to make money by changing our mindset. I found it very applicable and quite profound without being stiff or pretentious (let’s face it, those types are decaying breeds anyway).

Remember: bad leaders tell people what they did wrong (anyone can sit there and criticize). Good leaders tell people how to do it right without telling people they did it wrong. Thanks Jen for continuing that example! Highly recommend.

I wonder how much of this is actually true when it comes to the little teeny tiny details...but a good read nonetheless!

Well, another book by Linda Kovic-Skow is finished and I am quite sad - it is so good, I didn’t want it to end!

Linda Kovic-Skow has a special way of writing - simple yet detailed, which is why I like it. She doesn’t implement a lot of “novel like fluff” that so many authors overdo.

I finished this in 48 hours! I wish she’d write more, perhaps another book on life back home.

Keep up the great work, Linda!

To start, this was a truly fantastic read! Before I write my full review I’d just like to say that I am so sorry all of that happened to you.

There are plenty of books on here that make me want to take a nap, or go grab a beer, or listen to a seminar on insurance...but this one just kept my attention for hours on end!

I finished this in two days...the only downside is that it left me hanging!

Fantastically written, well narrated, and a great account of an experience in France.

Absolutely heartfelt and truly an account of hitting rock bottom but finding yourself stronger in the end.

The openness, realness, and authenticity of Leah’s words brought me to tears, probably because I could relate so much.

As having grown up in another religion, being told that sex before marriage will send you straight to hell (LMAO!) yet somehow other sins are overlooked (how do people come up with this BS with a straight face! LoL).
