Historia
Ever since James Lyle found an alternate dimension hidden in the stairwell of his workplace, things have been, well, weird. For one thing, when he’s not working the night shift, he’s battling killer mail carts and ravenous swarms of sticky notes. For another, he’s dealing with some very complex and intense emotions for several of his friends. Meanwhile, his parents have offloaded his younger sister on him. As if all this weren’t enough, James’s voyages into the dungeon world seem to be having a strange effect on the world in which he actually lives.

I'm cool with real people being homosexual. whatever one likes is their business. at the same time, I'm not really a fan of spending money to hear a story about a couple guys being shy about their love..
while being chased by staplers.
at one point they are
*spoiler alert*
saved by homosexuality.
not exaggerating.
if you couldn't care less, hey, bone appetite.
if you don't fancy spending hours listening to constant references to forbidden love, maybe skip this one.
side note.
there's a point in the story where two characters discuss the importance of doing the right thing while disparaging people who obey speed limits.
so. yeah. psychology for you.

Historia
Milton Frederick was originally abducted from his apartment to help defend one batch of pacifistic aliens called The Collective against another set of homicidal aliens called Heliothropes...but he never quite made it that far. Instead, during the process where his human consciousness was ripped from his body and inserted into a massive metal contraption called a Station Core, the ship that he was being transported on blew up and he was sent hurtling through space.

Historia
Accidentally murdered by a cleric in another universe during a botched resurrection, Arnold, a semi-pro gamer, wakes upon an altar to find himself incarnated into the overweight body of a farmer who could have been his fatter twin. He’s not the hero. He’s not the villain. He’s certainly not the chosen one who is there to save the world. He’s a clerical error. It could be a bad joke, but apparently, it happens so often that they have a standard procedure for returning you.

Historia
All life on Earth has been stolen away by The System. It was transported to another world at the behest of a distant galactic empire that lives in terror of humanity's potential. Ben - just a normal, if not slightly above average guy - had been about to go on the first real vacation of his adult life. But plans changed. Now, he must contend with danger and mystery in a world full of monsters, magic, and treasure. Armed with nothing but his wits and a special item given to him by The System, he embarks on a damn good adventure.

book is great, narration is solid but only that
Revisado: 07-30-21
I've been going through litrpg books like a wheat thresher would go through books...for a while now.
this one is the pulp of the crop.
it has a somewhat eddingsish feel to it. a quicker, shallower progression, but plenty to enjoy. it lacks in a few ways, but as compared to the bulk of similar titles out there, this one doesn't just hold its own but goes so far as to contend in its own right by living up to a higher standard than just leveling up and being a good Mary-stu. and you can forgive what elements it may lack for the sake of balancing what it pulls off. the author does plug his own issues, circus employment for example, but you'd have to check his bio to realize that.
the narrator does his job and is good at reading. however, he sounds inconvenienced by repeating achievements. its rather unprofessional, but that doesn't impact the flow of the book. in fact, his lackadaisical tone probably benefits the touch of storybook quality that is so refreshing to find in this genre.
the books are too short by half in my opinion. it feels a bit like a money grab. they end suddenly, as if this might have been a much more satisfying purchase as an epic tome, instead of feeling like these small portions end for commercial breaks.
this may seem minor, good ugland, if you should read this; but I'd wager it has spoiled some of the series' long term potential as a classic from this Era of genre popularity.
if you the buyer are reading this, I do recommend purchase, if for no other reason than that it qualifies as more than just good enough. it will entertain you and it will feel different from reading similar books. I would however suggest that you purchase the set of books if you like the first and you will save some money. I will be buying 4-6 and 7-9 in sets myself, having gotten the first three individually.

Historia
I was in my garage when the space elves addressed the whole world. They didn't call themselves space elves, of course. Most humans struggled to pronounce Khjurhnalva, so we opted for the easier version. They had a message for us: Forces that had eradicated their species' males were now heading for Earth. Hungry for our resources, the alien hordes annihilate everything that stands in their way. The space elves offered us access to the System and asked for very little in return. After all, cooperation was vital to the survival of both our species.

genital mutilation
Revisado: 07-19-21
the author spends a lot of time discussing male genitalia. wether lovingly damaging it or making crude jokes about size and usage. this is a common theme in his writing.
the books aren't bad because the type of story carries its own appeal, but you get the impression that the author has extreme dominance issues.
