Don't call about "The Book" Grant Mentions

How-to-guide to "Always be Closing"
Revisado: 03-19-19
Some good nuggets in this book, but I was not a fan of the aggressive sales tactics he pushes. However, if you're trying to imitate Glengarry Glen Ross, then this book is for you. I also found some of the information in opposition to each other.
Grant Cardone narrates his own book and though the off-the-cuff style makes it easy to digest, it can feel haphazardly thrown together. He constantly boasts about his own successes, tries to sell his other products (I can't really fault him for that -- he is a salesman after all), and goes on random tangents for analogies.

Historia
Despite constant efforts to declutter your home, do papers still accumulate like snowdrifts and clothes pile up like a tangled mess of noodles?Japanese cleaning consultant Marie Kondo takes tidying to a whole new level, promising that if you properly simplify and organize your home once, you'll never have to do it again. Most methods advocate a room-by-room or little-by-little approach, which doom you to pick away at your piles of stuff forever.

Some good nuggets of information
Revisado: 09-24-16
Basically boils down to discard everything that doesn't bring you jou. We accumulate too much stuff that we don't use or care about. It is amazing to see the results after clients follow her manifesto and I have no doubt that it is life-changing. She addresses many of the criticisms that come up. That being said, I'm still sceptical that my possessions have an essence/aura. And the detail she goes into organizing some items (but not others) was unnecessary; mostly focused on methods she has used personally.
As I was listening to this book, I had a hard time holding myself back from going KonMari on my house ASAP. I'm also interested in applying the concepts found here to my digital life.

Short but engrossing
Revisado: 06-06-16
Great play done by a cast of narrators though some scenes rely heavily on visual effects that couldn't be captured through the audio book. Sound effects are a nice touch, but the laugh track was very grating.
Concerning the story, it's terrifying what can happen behind the jury room doors. I listened to the whole thing in one session as I couldn't stop.

Mechanics, Mages, and Pirates, oh my
Revisado: 04-20-16
The stakes get bigger in this book. The gang continues to gain new members as the legend of Mari spreads further. Many of the supporting characters are interesting and critical to the team. Unfortunately, I felt the struggles were not as challenging this time around. Despite that, I was always interested to see what they would have to face next.
This book seems shorter than the previous though that could be because I had trouble putting it down (err...stopping the audiobook). Campbell was better about not repeating so much about the previous books.
