An amazing, detailed overview of American government and the political landscape. Far exceeds anything else I have read.

I love Plum. It is not clear to me who is the main character is here. The reader does not work for a female. It's tough to be a reader.

Having become addicted to Napoleonic historical literature, I’ve read most everything I can find. This book meets my highest standard of action adventure, realism, and complex plot. It does not dwell on womanizing but it treats that aspect of life in a nice appropriate way. The reader is very good too.

A very interesting assortment of short stories, with multiple themes. If you like Montalbano, don't miss it!

I did learn a great deal about TR, but did not realize that the book did not discuss his presidency. This was a major disappointment, which I should have investigated in advance.
I also found the discussion of TR's asthma attacks and the lengthy dwelling of the author on his psychological theories concerning these overdone.
While I do not regret listening to this title, it does not compare to the same author's biography of Truman.

This is the best development of the Renzi character. Three cheers! Also, this historical situation is one I knew nothing about.

I found the writing tedious. The main character's musings and details of unnecessary minutiae were maddening. I will not be continuing with this author.

What about Christian Rodska’s performance did you like?

Great voice all the way.

Any additional comments?

I didn't think there was anything I didn't know about World War II, but this book was so personal and real. It is well worth the time.

Would you listen to End This Depression Now! again? Why?

I never appreciated how well a real economist can explain economics in scientific terms. I am so used to hearing it from the POV of "traders" and "talking heads". It gives me hope there is a solution to this "depression". However, don't expect this book to make you feel good. It is rather sobering.

What does Rob Shapiro and Paul Krugman bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Due to the immensity of the topic, I tried to read it from the library but it would have taken too long to read. The audio version allowed me to get through it easily.

What’s the most interesting tidbit you’ve picked up from this book?

The nature of liquidity and how important it is. Also, it is sobering to think our legislators are so determined to go the austerity route that has failed in every instance.
